What is covered? The following is a list of covered components:
1. ENGINE. Cylinder block, cylinder heads, and all internal parts. Manifolds, valve train and covers, and flywheel. Camshaft and timing drive components. Oil pump and oil pan. Seals and gaskets, with the exception of cylinder head gaskets and intake manifold gaskets, are covered only in conjunction with a covered repair. Cylinder head and intake manifold gaskets are covered for coolant leaks only.
2. TRANSMISSION. Case and all internal parts. Torque converter and converter housing. Seals and gaskets are covered only in conjunction with a covered repair.
3. DIFFERENTIAL. Front or rear differential housing and all internal parts. Drive shaft and universal joints, front axle joints are covered only on four wheel drive vehicles. Transfer case on four wheel drive vehicles and all internal parts. Seals and gaskets are covered only in conjunction with a covered repair.
4. COOLING SYSTEM. Fan and fan clutch. Electric radiator fan motor and water pump.
5. STEERING. Steering gear, rack and pinion assembly, and all internal parts. Power steering cooler and lines.
6. SUSPENSION. Springs, control arms, and ball joints.
7. BRAKES. All brake components, including all components of the anti-lock system, except linings, pads, rotors, and drums.
8. ELECTRICAL. Alternator, voltage regulator, windshield wiper motor, and starter motor.
9. AIR CONDITIONING. Compressor, compressor clutch, clutch coil, evaporator, and condenser on vehicles with factory air conditioning originally equipped with R134a.
10. LABOR. The labor charges are based on industry accepted flat rates to repair or replace a covered component.
11. RENTAL CAR. Twenty-five dollars per eight hours of flat rate time to replace a covered component with a maximum of two hundred and fifty dollars.
12. TOWING. If your car must be towed because a covered component has failed, towing is covered to the nearest qualified repair center, up to a maximum of fifty dollars.
What is not covered? No other components, other than those listed above, are covered by this service contact.
Where do I go for warranty work? Any registered repair facility within the continental United States.
Is this warranty valid in Canada? No.
